By arranging for an analyser to be connected to your systems or building prior to any 'Green' or Cost Saving schemes the actual savings from these upgrades can be assessed.
With our remote monitoring service we can download your measurements without leaving our office and even issue interim reports on the tests before you send our equipment back, thus ensuring everything is going as planned. All that's required is a wireless Internet connection setting up on the included laptop.

1) A more efficient UPS system is to be installed; the power requirements for the existing system could be measured over a 7 day period. The same tests could be carried out on the new 'Green' UPS and exact cost savings over the an annual period could be calculated.
To give an even clearer picture, the Mains input and Inverter output of the UPS could be recorded simultaneously and the actual % Efficiency calculated. Our matched pair analysers are ideal for this test along with our reporting services.
2) A nationwide company is considering the potential savings of having a 'Power Perfector' (Voltage Reduction) system fitted. On a case study site the power requirements could be recorded over a 2 week period and a report done to show current power usage over the site.
After the power perfecter has been fitted, the same test could be repeated and a further report done. The 2 recording periods could be compared and actual power savings could be calculated. This would allow a far clearer picture of the Actual cost savings to be shown and more in depth viability study and business case could then be put together before rolling out this system across all facilities.
3) The additional load requirements (from UPS systems re-charging) on a large building after a full black start test need to be found. This is very important when sizing or evaluating a site generators capabilities to supply the whole building.
Our systems can be connected to the back end of the Auto Changeover panel (the main building supply) during the tests. The current running load and the additional load after the power re-instatement can be found. The equipment could be left to record for up to 4 weeks non-stop to give a broader picture of the buildings current power needs before and upgrades or additional systems are fitted.
